Our 20 Year Written Guarantee
Qualifying roofing work comes with a 20 year guarantee, in writing, on paper you keep with the house. Here is what that means in practice.
A promise you can hold us to
Plenty of roofers will say their work is guaranteed. We put ours in writing, so there is no argument later about what was said on the doorstep. We have been trading for twenty years, and the guarantee is built around the way we work: photographed jobs, fixings to the current British Standard, and materials chosen to suit the house.
Your quote states which parts of the job qualify, and the guarantee document you receive when the job is signed off sets out the terms in full.
What the guarantee covers
- Workmanship on the qualifying work we carry out
- The way materials we supplied have been fitted and fixed
- Leaks arising from that work
- Return visits to put right anything covered, at no charge
What it does not cover
Parts of the roof we did not work on
If we repaired the front slope, the guarantee covers that repair — not the untouched back slope.
Damage from outside events
Falling trees, impact damage, or other trades working on the roof after us (aerial or solar installers, for example).
Lack of basic maintenance
Gutters and outlets need clearing. Water backing up from a blocked gutter is not a roof failure.

Is every job covered for 20 years?
Qualifying work is. Your written quote makes clear which work qualifies before you agree to anything.
What do I need to keep?
The guarantee document and your invoice. We also keep the job photos on file.
Moving house?
Mention it when we quote, and we will confirm in writing how the guarantee would pass to a buyer.
How do I make a claim?
